Mulu Tsega

With an insatiable curiosity and drive for excellence, Ms. Mulu Tsega has tremendous potential to become a guiding light for technological advancement in Ethiopia. Though still early in her career, Ms. Tsega’s leadership has left a memorable mark on those she meets. Raised in Lalibela, Ethiopia, her academic and career aspirations were nurtured by supportive parents who instilled in her a love of learning. They taught her a quality education would serve as a rock-solid for future career and personal success.

Currently, Ms. Tsega is a product manager at a multinational technology company, where her collaborative spirit empowers boundary-pushing technical innovation that helps to drive social change. She also participates in local technical forums, meet-ups, and symposiums, where she has emerged as a thought leader who generously shares her knowledge and experience to help cultivate Ethiopia's burgeoning technology community.

Beyond her professional work, Ms. Tsega energetically reinvests the goodwill, guidance, and support that led her to success. She regularly mentors students to navigate their educational and career journeys, leveraging her AI research and popular "All About Product" LinkedIn series. Further, as an earnest advocate for African women in technology and STEM fields, Ms. Tsega enjoys building and inspiring this community through her writing.

Ms. Tsega holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems from Wolaita Sodo University in South Ethiopia Regional State, Ethiopia, where she is now an assistant lecturer. She also has a Master's degree in Software Engineering from Addis Ababa Science and Technology University in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
