Hafsat Sadiq
Ms. Hafsat Sadiq is an attorney and a gender inclusion and social impact activist from Northern Nigeria. She has spent much of her career working on children’s and health campaigns with the CHIEF FOUNDATION and advocating for female inclusion and participation in Nigerian politics and public life through her involvement with ElectHER. This think tank engages, encourages, equips, and enables Nigerian women to “Decide, Run, and Win” elections.
Regarding public service, Ms. Sadiq also played a role in one of Nigeria's most extensive political campaigns, the #Agender35 campaign. #Agender35 saw several female candidates win their race for state and federal legislative seats nationwide in the 2023 Nigeria General Elections.
After completing the 2022 Pad Project Global Ambassadorship program and graduating in the 2023 cycle of the Mckinsey Forward program, Ms. Sadiq continues to lend her voice to social impact causes using her project management and strategic communications expertise. Her ambition targets social issues affecting women and other marginalized groups in diverse sectors in Nigeria and the African continent. Ms. Sadiq exemplifies the quality of a visionary in a tasking environment and is enshrined in achieving an equal and enlightened mind frame for the African future.
Ms. Sadiq holds an LLB from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in Nigeria, and is a licensed member of the most extensive bar in Africa (The Nigerian Bar Association).
